Amigurumi Cute Turtle Free Pattern

Materials

• 2 mm crochet hook,
• 2 different yarns calling for 2 mm hook (white and blue),
• some red yarn for making the mouth,
• 2 black safety amigurumi eyes,
• soft stuffing,
• tapestry needle.

Abbreviations

ch = chain (s)
rnd(s) = round (s)
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Also: If you prefer to work continiously, you should use a stitch marker. But if not, you should do 1 ch in the beginning of each round and close each round with a sl st (I used to work this way). Lets start.

4 rnd: 1 sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next 6 sc, 1 sc in next 5 sc (22)
5 rnd: 1 sc in each next sc (22)
6 rnd: 1 sc in each next sc (22)
7 rnd: 1 sc in next 5 sc, [sc2 tog] x 6 times, 1 sc in next 5 sc (16)

Finishing the Turtle

Stuff the top of the shell and start sewing all parts together with color 1 (white)
Use pins to hold together all the pieces before sewing.
Fasten off and weave all the yarn.
