Materials:

• White and one yarn color of your choice.
• Pink yarn to make mouth
• Crochet hook that matches your yarn
• (I used alize velluto white and purple, himalaya pink for mouth, 6mm and 4,5mm hook) Safety eyes – 16mm
• Fiber filling
• Stitch marker
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Abbrevations:

MR: magic ring
Sc: single crochet
Inc: increase
Dec: decrease
Slst: slip stitch
BLO: Back loop only
Fo: fasten off

AMIGURUMI BABY COW FREE PATTERN

Arms (x2)

Start with magic ring. With purple yarn,
1. Sc 6
2. Sc 6
3. Change to white, sc 6
4. Sc 6

Stuff loosely with fiberfill
Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew arms between rows 6-7 (10-11in total)

Legs (x2)

Start with magic ring. With purple yarn,
1. Sc 6
2. (2Sc, inc) x 2 (8sc)
3. Change to white, BLO, sc 8 (8sc)
4. Sc 8 (8sc)
For first leg, cut the yarn and fasten off. Put a stitch marker into first stitch of round 4.
For second leg, don’t cut the yarn.

Head – Body

Now we will attach legs to form the body
1. Sc 4 with second leg, chain 1, insert your hook into the stitch where you put stitch marker before in first leg, sc 1, sc 7 more with first leg (8sts total), sc 1 with chain, sc 4 with second leg (17sc)
2. Sc 17.
You can sew the holes between legs now.

3. (3sc, inc) x 4, sc (21sc)
4. 21sc
5. (5sc, dec) x 3 (18sc)
6. (4sc, dec) x 3 (15sc)
Start stuffing. Keep continue as you go.

7. (3sc, dec) x 3 (12sc)
8. (Sc, inc) x 6 (18sc)
9. (5sc, inc) x 3 (21sc)
For rows 10-12, sc 21 for 3 rounds
13. Sc, dec x 7
Insert 14mm safety eyes between rows 11-12, 3 sts apart.
14. Dec x 7
Fasten off, close hole.

Mouth

Use a thinner yarn. (I used himalaya dolphin baby yarn and 4.5mm hook)
1. Make a slipknot. Ch5
2. Turn your work, starting from second chain, inc, sc2, 3sc into last stitch, turn your work, sc 3
3. Sc 10, slst.
Sew through rows 10-11.

Ears (Make 2)

Start with magic ring,
1. 6 sc
2. (Sc, inc) x 3
Sew between rows 13-14.
