• 3.125mm crochet hook
• Patons Grace Yarn 
or other sport weight cotton yarn (for the purple one I used one Bonbon from a Lion Brand Bonbons Yarn  pack)
• 2 – 6mm safety eyes
• Fiber fill
• Yarn needle
• Lobster claw keychain
• Sewing pins

AMIGURUMI ELEPHANT KEYCHAIN CROCHET FREE PATTERN

Head:

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6sts)
R2: inc around (12sts)
R3: *sc 1, inc* around (18sts)
R4: *sc 2, inc* around (24sts)
R5: *sc 3, inc* around (30sts)
R6-9: sc around (30sts)

• Attach the safety eyes between rows 6 and 7, 5 stitches apart
• Attach the lobster claw to the center of the top of the head
R10: *sc 3, dec* around (24sts)
R11: *sc 2, dec* around (18sts)
• Stuff the head with fiber fill
R12: *sc 1, dec* around (12sts)
R13: dec around (6sts)
Fasten off and sew the opening closed tightly.

Ears: (make 2)

R1: 6 sc in magic ring (6sts)
R2: inc around (12sts)
R3: *sc 1, inc* around (18sts)
R4: *sc 2, inc* around (24sts)
R5-6: sc around (24sts)
Fasten off with a long tail. Fold in half to make a half circle and sew the opening closed. Then sew on to the head (use pins to hold it in place as you go)

Feet: (make 4)

R2: In back loops only, sc around (6sts)
Fasten off with a long tail. Attach to the bottom of the head.

Trunk

R1: 4 sc in magic ring (4sts)
R2: In back loops only, sc around (4sts)
R3: sc around (4sts)
R4: sc 3, inc (5sts)
R5: sc 4, inc (6sts)
R6: sc 5, inc (7sts)
Fasten off with a long tail and attach to the head, centered below the eyes.
Add a tiny braided tail to the back and that’s it!
