What you will need
• yarn – I used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 and 2 mm crochet hook for smaller tree and ggh Cottonea and 3 mm hook for bigger.
• cardboard
• scissors, pencil
• adhesive tape
This pattern is written for the tree made of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn and 2 mm hook. The tree is 17 cm high.
Abbreviations
dec = decrease
inc = increase
SC = single crochet st = stitch
slst = slip stitch
bbl = bubble stitch
blo = back loop only
() x… = repeat instructions in brackets…times
Bubble stitch: (yarn over, insert the hook under the stitch, grab the working yarn and pull trough) x 3, yarn over and pull trough all 7 loops on your hook.

Roll the cardboard into a cone and adjust its size to the tree. Secure the cone inside with a tape, mark the edge with a pencil. Take a cone out of the tree and trim it along the marked line. Secure outside with a tape. Place the cone back into the tree.
Now we are working over the edge of the cone.
