ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – treble crochet or double crochet
pac – Quadruple treble crochet
pc – slip stitch, slip stitch
st – Stitch

BLO – half double crochet or ribbed single crochet taking only the back loop or backloop single crochet
dec – Decrease
FLO – half double crochet or ribbed single crochet taking only the front loop

AMIGURUMI CHEEKY HAMSTER FREE PATTERN

Cheeks & Muzzle:

Make 2 cheeks. Hook 2.25 mm. Yarn B (white).
Round 1: Make a magic circle. SC x5 (5)
Round 2: *inc* repeat around (10)
Round 3: *inc, SC* repeat around (15)
Round 4: *inc, SC x4* repeat around. Finish off with slst.

Leave tail for sewing (18)
Make 1. Hook 3.5 mm. Yarn B (white).
Round 1: ch 6
Round 2: SC in 2nd ch from hook. SC x4 (5)
Round 3-4: ch 1, turn, SC x5. Finish off round 5 with slst. Leave tail for sewing (5)

Head & Body:

Hook 3.5 mm. Yarn A (tan).
Round 1: Make a magic ring. SC x6 (6)
Round 2: *inc* repeat around (12)
Round 3: *inc, SC* repeat around (18)

Prior to proceeding on to the body section, place safety eyes around round 7-8 and spaced 5-6 st apart. You can adjust eye placement per your preference. Sew on muzzle with the edge lining up with the edge of round 12. Place nose. Sew on cheeks, lightly stuffing before closing. Start stuffing while crocheting along.
Round 13: In BLO, *dec, SC x4* repeat around (20)
Round 14: In FLO, *inc, SC x4* repeat around (24)

Round 15: *inc, SC x3* repeat around (30)
Round 16-20: SC x30 (30)
Round 21: *dec, SC x3* repeat around (24)
Round 22: *dec, SC x2* repeat around (18). Make sure to stuff firmly.
Round 23: In BLO, *dec, SC* repeat around (12)
Round 24: *dec* repeat around. Finish off with slst and add any needed filling. Sew closed and weave in tail.

Tail:

Round 1: ch 3
Round 2: DC in 2nd ch from the hook. DC inc in last st. slst into same st to finish off. Leave tail for sewing (3)

Feet:

Make 2. Hook 3.5 mm. Yarn A (tan).
Round 1: Make a magic circle. SC x4 (4)
Round 2: *inc* repeat around (8)
Round 3-5: SC x8. Finish off round 8 with slst and leave tail for sewing.

Assembly:

Use the tapestry needle to assemble the hamster. Please refer to photos as reference, but feel free to alter the design to your preference.
Sew on ears to head, around round 4-5.
Sew on belly with the top aligning to round 13. Make sure the right side of facing out.
Sew on legs to side of body, between rounds 17-22. Stuff lightly before closing off.
Sew on feet.
Sew on arms.
Sew on tail at approximately round 20-21. And you’re done!!
